John Tyner
John C. Tyner, former Coordinator of K-12 Music for Monroe Public Schools has been the Director of Music for Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church since 1984. He has conducted several state honors choirs and been awarded Music Teacher of the Year and Administrator of the Year for the state of Michigan. In addition he was awarded the prestigious Maynard Kline Award by the Michigan Chapter of the American Choral Directors Association. In addition to overseeing the large music department of St. Paul’s he conducts the Chancel Choir
