Community Enrichment Classes June 2022

Community Enrichment Groups came about as a way for people to once again gather and grow. Classes are opportunities for you to meet people who have similar likes and to grow in fellowship. We will offer learning for men, women, youth and families with classes that are FREE! Donations will be accepted. Classes will be held on the second Wednesday evening during the summer; June 8, July 13, August 10, 2022.
The Community Enrichment Group program is sponsored by the United Methodist Women group with support from St. Paul’s Christian Education Committee. We wanted to offer more than Sunday school and Bible studies as a way to include our community of Monroe in the life of our church family.

June 8, 2022 offerings all begin at 6:30pm:

Arts & Crafts: Plant Swap

Bring a perennial, annual, vegetable plants to swap with other plant lovers!

Kids Only: Father’s Day Craft for Kids

Christian Education Director Alisha Cooley will lead a craft activity for a Father’s Day gift, best for elementary aged children.

History: Woodlawn Cemetery Walking Tour

Local historian Chris Kull will lead a walking tour of Monroe’s historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Class will meet at St. Paul’s then proceed to Cemetery. Wearing comfortable walking shoes is suggested.

Technology: iPhone and iPad Technology for Seniors

Kyle Cooley of Cooley Video Services will answer seniors questions about iPhone and iPad use including digital photos and videos. Bring your device!
