Jay was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio where he currently resides. He comes to us with over twenty years of experience in music ministry, across many denominations. His talent in music was discerned as a gift of God at a very early age. Matter of fact, his first position as organist was at the age of 15 at Hope United Methodist church in Toledo, Ohio. Jay studied privately at the Ursula Cauffiel School of Music for eight years and then refined his skills under the guidance of locally renowned pianist/church organist, Karen Wilcox. In addition, he took several courses and studied piano privately with faculty at the University of Toledo. Jay is very spiritually active in his Christian faith and thankful for the many opportunities and blessings that have come his way. Being blessed means that he strives to be a blessing to others. We welcome Jay to our church family. His first Sunday with us will be August 11th.
